Roger (old Fishtales new C-Hawk) Gets a new dog TODAY !!!

I think I am almost as thrilled about this as he is... Today his puppy arrives from Seattle by air.... He sent the deposit before the dog was born....and we went to see it when we were in Seattle for the Boat Show.... and now that it is 8 weeks...She is flying down to meet Roger and PJ today.... when we last saw Sadie her eyes were not even open... I bet they sure are now....

Even Pat is thrilled.... the dogs bed and toys have been in the living room for at least a month.... and she has been shopping like an expectant mother....Ha..and she keeps saying it's Rogers dog... Ha !

Sadie is a female Brittany and is about as cute as they come...a real heartbreaker... Roger is even planning on taking her to work every day with him.. in a special carrier on the bus... spoiled never..

Joel, I couldn't agree more, sounds like a great pup!! But wouldn't this be better in the "Critter Corner" :dog than in the "Boating Accessories for Sale" forum? Unless she's for sale (NOT!, I'm certain!!) :lol:

Mike....Does your blank post mean you are speechless ?? or trying to figure out what FOLEX is ??? Me too... XELOF ?? nope...not a code.. must be some sort of Krap remover... We'll have to check Roger next time we see him....make sure he has his plastic bags in him pockets...

Ok, figured it out. Now, here's my pup, Muffin, my constant companion. Goes to the CG station with me, hangs out on the dock when I'm underway....always there when I return. Best dog I've ever owned. Roger, if yours turns out anything like Muff, you're in for a treat.

Talked with Bob today-- word is that C-Hawk is complete and in "final inspection". Should be here before the end of the month--- we'll see :roll:

Mike- We met Muffin in Santa Barbara last year. Fine companion ya got there.

Hey Roger Man! Sure hope you bet back on the waters real soon.

Talking about you in the Portland Maine Boat Show this weekend up here in Maine. Ron (sorry...forgot his boat name) from your's and Joels & Chris' neck of the woods was here. Talked about some of the California gatherings.

Still hope to make one soon...but may just have to take a flight out and hope on a boat with someone. Will bring BBQ.

Keep me posted on your boat.

Keep us posted on the Pouch too! Looks like a winner and for sure will make cleaning up crumbs on the boat floor much easier.

Had lunch with Roger and Pat yesterday....the dog was out in the car...I think they need a bigger vehicle to carry all the toys and goodies for that dog.... I didn't know they made so many dog things.... Roger and PJ bought more stuff than a new set of expectant parents do for a baby.... Honestly.... Petsmart stock probably went up last week... Pat kept trying to send Roger out to check the dog every 15 minutes...

And almost as bad was the dog.... what a princes ... and spoiled...yazoo !! in only one week... she is a real star... didn't take that long to train those two folks.... fun to watch !!

Gotta admit....That's one fine dog.

I was told by Scot and Ricardo, at the Factory Party, that my boat would be here in 9 weeks. That would put the date as March 29. We gave them a few more days to make it April 1---- that was my mistake---- April Fools day :oops:
Once again they have failed to meet a delivery date. :evil:
When I bought Fishtales I was told the boat would be here at the end of February, 2001- then it was in April--- did not get the boat until Memorial Day, 2001--- 3 months later then I was told when I ordered the boat.

Some things never change-
