3 photos of a helm seat were just added to the CBTech Library in the Cabin Interior section. The seat looks very interesting but there is no description of it and no way to tell the manufacturer. Further, I don't recall any discussion of the seat on the site. Anyone know anything about it that would enable one to find out more information? It sure looks like a nice seat and one that will likely generate a lot of interest.

I agree, that does look interesting. Almost looks like one of the rear seats out of a minivan or smaller SUV. I, too, would like to know more about it (brand/origin/how it has worked out/etc.). Thanks for making the query!

It looks like the boat has a bench seat instead of a galley behind the helm (?).
Here are the photos:

Sure looks like the middle seats in my Toyota mini van, and they would make nice boat seats. Check a local junk yard. You can see some options on ebay.

It looks like the driver would have to have bird legs to operate the boat with that seat.
Maybe it is equipped with tilt steering.

Looks really comfy to me... is it heated? :D

Time for somebody to "fess up" on a pretty nice seat mod. Agree it might be a tight fit for some (me) but it does look comfortable, and durable.

I like how it still has the headrest for whiplash!

Adeline's factory seat offers something that I don't often see in replacements...
a flat surface for food prep/TV/DVR/VCR/ETC.
This mystery helm-seat is the best I've seen so far offering a nearly flat surface and armrests in a comfortable package.

Agreed. Especially w/ the drink holders molded into the back.
