If you go to this website, www.letssaythanks.com, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Thanks Brent, It does only take a second or two. I've bookmarked the site and will likely return to it often. We can't thank them enough.

I did it too!

Felt very good, and was definitely over due!

Will repeat as I feel necessary.

Joe.

There's about 140,000 of them over there. I won't get that many sent but I'll make a dent in it. I'm sure if Pat and Joe send one each time they post on this site, we'll get them all covered before Christmas! :thup :thup

This is a great site. I forwarded it to everyone I know.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Remember, if you can afford it.... never let military personnel in a restaurant or pub pick up their own tab. You'd be surprized how many times someone else has beat you to it. :)

Roy and Lucky, great idea....Let me know the next time you go out, I'll see if I can squeeze into my old uniform.... :smilep :cocktail :beer

My son (in-law) is in the Navy...and is home now but was in Bagdad during the first of the shooting...I was really glad when he got home.. I think sending a note to a young person in the service is a really good idea....I will do it..I all to well remember the long days overseas.

Rachel my daughter who is attending UC Channel Islands just finished writing a kids book about "when daddy is at work" designed for (little) children with fathers awayt on deployment. She is working on her elementary credential.
