Sequim & Port Angeles C Dory owners

Marie and I will be in Sequim (off Kitchen Dick Road) for the next week. The grandkids have gone home, and we have recovered after a couple of days rest. Unfortunately we had to come back from Victoria before the gathering there. But did see Lu C at and a Ranger Tug at Brown's Bay. (just above Seymour Narrows-A fantastic place--as long as you know when the cruise liners are coming thru, so you don't get rolled out of the bunk by the wake!) (Photos to follow when we have more band width).

We would love to meet with, and see any of the boats in the area. I did get a chance to DaNag's new Tug before the grandkids came--great boat.

Any suggestions of a good time to either have a mini gathering, or at least get together for a couple of hours with individuals.

Such beautiful weather--but I am told that many are complaining of the "heat"!

You here through next weekend?

I too, missed Victoria - that wiring project you saw me undertaking took on a life of it's own. Just finished up yesterday.

Dana and I were thinking of going to Sequim Bay next weekend - probably anchoring out, but near the dock. Anyone else interested?

And Bob...iffin' you really want some C-Dory time, I've a nice little 16 you're likely qualified to captain.

Thanks Bill,
Yes, we will be here thru the Holiday weekend--not a good time to be on the Road or looking for RV parks late in the afternoon.

Thanks for the offer!

How about the Prime Rib Dinner at the Oasis in Sequim? $14.95! Friday night would allow working folks like Sleepy-C and C-Renity to attend. We can make reservations if folks would like that venue. Or suggest an alternative. We can pick up boaters at the marina if need be.

Would sure like to get together with you folks. Wonder if Thursday eve would work as well. I have work meeting in Tacoma, Friday Morning and then on down to Portland for the weekend. Be back Sunday PM sometime after work.

Oh, I bet they don't do the prime rib on Thursday.

I ran into Doug on the (X -DaNag) tonight at the JW ramp. He said they had been at Seq Bay SP dock for the weekend. Had been looking here for a Sequim CBGT. Hope he sees this too.

I could probably do any evening but Wed, unless it was pretty late.

Glad to know you made it up the islnad and back all OK Bob. Looking forward to seeing you and Marie and Roger and Janet too. Been a while.

Susan and I would be in for a Thursday or Friday evening get together. We are leaving Saturday morning for family get together at Lake St Clair, so a weekday evening get together would work great for us.
Had a nice chat with Harvey yesterday and looking forward to meeting more C-Brats.

I am wondering if I might be able to get a tour or two were I to come up to Sequim? I have my money saved up, and likely will buy a boat in November or December.

we just got back into town, and will be here through the work week , unfortunately we blew our lower unit last tuesday on the main, with marine shops in town either too busy or not familiar with e tec motors I have a feeling this will take a bit of my time. we leave again for the holiday weekend but will try and make whatever get together is planed.

RobLL, you would probably do best going to one of the gatherings. Potential owners are always welcome. There would be many different types of boats there. There is not a date set for a Sequim gathering. My boat is at Lake Powell currently, and I live in Florida--just visiting. Most owners are always happy to show their boat.

Is Thursday night the best for those who wish to gather for dinner? If so, Roger, pick the best place. Any other C brats up here who should be notified?

Tentatively the plan is dinner at Black Bear Diner on E Washington St. at 6 Pm tomorrow night, Tuesday, August 26.

This seems to be the night with the least conflicts for those who have said they wanted to attend.

Roger is double checking on a table for a dozen there.

Thanks.

If some cannot make it that night, Marie and I might be able to work out some other night with a smaller group. I will be happy to PM my phone number to any who wish.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Black Bear Diner. 6PM on Tues. Oh Great, that's tomorrow night. Can't Wait.

Thanks Roger (?) for setting this one up.

Thanks for thinking of us Roger and for the phone call Harvey.

Regrettably, we will not be able to make it out that way this evening. Tanya is working in Bainbridge Island and does not get home until too late.

Say hello to everybody for us!

Thanks again,
Dan, Tanya, and Hannah on C-Renity

Is this a kid friendly deal, or adult gathering? we have a 3 and 5 year old. We are ok either way just wanted to check first. before showing up with the family in tow. should be able to make it either way.

Larry, any chance you can drag that BIL of yours along? How about 416 Rigby?

Dunno about Rick, but I did text him so he's aware.

Me - gonna be tight, have some chores that have to get done today. I'll try and finish, but won't know until later today.

Jake,
I have always thought of as C Brats as a family friendly group. I suspect that your kids would be the only ones there, but always welcome in my book!
