seven boats sink during freezing

Seven boats have sunk due to freezing conditions on the Ohio river in and around Cincinnati Ohio. A fifty ft sea ray sundancer was raised and hauled out of water yesterday. The cause of damage was freezing sea cocks, burst hoses and drained batteries., one might ask, what were you thinking?
 
I'm thinking how glad I am to have my boat winterized and on a trailer in the driveway. I guess they saved money on a haul out and blocking. A serious bummer.

What a big disappointance!

More bitter cold weather today and this week
I am glad my family are at Camp Barrett in Florida

I am sure glad I bought a new snowblower (previous one was a POS) in Sept. Of course at the time, it was fodder for jokes

snowblower is in located in Indiana :thup and will be used today and family except me are in Florida :(

The Admral just gave the green light to install an elevator ift with canopy and we are keeping the davit lifts. Hopefully we can obtain all permits in 8 weeks after applications are filed
 
Hi Charlie, linda and I are having a blast. Currently staying at sunny south rv resort in Sarasota until the end of this month, then moving to Up River rv resort located in ft Myers. Temps today was high of 76. Temps of beer, was cold! Lol hope you and your family are all doing well and staying warm.
