question for the more experienced users... i`ve read of the pounding of the hull. the delaware bay :twisted: , is a piece of water that can never make up it`s mind and offers short interval seas normally 1-3', alot of 3-5' and also very calm. this can all happen in less than an hour. how would the 22'(cruiser or angler)handle in these conditions? we just normally don`t get the swells or distant spacing of the waves of other waters. thanx for your comments...

gunfyter- I totally agree with my friends Ken and Al! I'd not hesitate to recommend the CD-22 Cruiser for such conditions. I can't imagine ever needing any more boat that my Cruiser for myself and for owning a boat that can be towed all over and used almost anywhere.
But if you asked for a boat that would be designed perfectly to overcome such conditions, the CD Tom Cat 24:
1) eats up short steep chop like no similar sized monohulled boat
2) doesn't require slowing down hardly at all
3) doesn't take an enormous amount of power to do so
4) provides a big stable platform with relatively little rock, roll, pitch and yawl, and
5) it also has much more room than a 22, both inside and outside the cabin.
Too bad the cost isn't equivalent! But if I lived on a large bay........

:thup thank you all for the above info, i`m use to the heavier 20-25 footers, handling wise. the "C" boat will be a bit different on biggers seas and your inputs are well received...
B~C and Flagold- i`ll keep your run slow advice, cuts down on abuse of the body parts!
Moose- i intend to order the trim tabs, i know i`ll need them here.
