small stove rail?

just wondering if anyone has every installed a small ss rail around their
wallas stove to stop the kettle etc. from hitting the floor in rough weather?

Mine came with some little arms that clamp onto the side rails of the Wallas. I've seen pics of them on the manufactures web site.

would you have to remove the arms when closing the stove lid?

Probably, but I have not yet used mine. I think they are of more use on a sailboat when people cook on a long tack.

Here's a LINK to the Wallas discussion on the River Marine website and photo below for you to see the stove arms.

Each of those arms is independant of each other, so that you can slide the arms closer or farther apart in order to accomodate whatever sized pan you are using for cooking.
If my old memory serves my right, the arms for my Wallas were in the plastic sealed bag that contained the Wallas Stove informational pamphlet.

That is right, mine are still in the plastic bags. Haven't had the need for them -- yet.

We never received any instructions, plastic bag, arms or anything! Our only instructions on use were what the dealer told us.
