So long, C-Brats

To all the wonderful C-Brats;

We’re sure gonna miss you guys! We have enjoyed our boating experience with Brave Heart tremendously. Thanks in big part to the fine people of the C-Brats. We made the heartbreaking decision to sell her because we just were not getting out on the water as much as we had thought we would. We keep very busy with all the other activities, travel, work and family in our lives. But, we consider ourselves blessed to have fulfilled a dream of exploring Puget Sound and cruising the San Juan Islands. A thrill we will always treasure. Thank you all for the guidance, support and friendship to this novice boating couple. Hope to see you around. Our life is richer because of having known you.
P.S Wendy is sad not to be having fun on the dock with Oscar, Chloe and other doggone friends.

Bill and Evelyn,

Just because you're soon to be boatless doesn't me you need to be a stranger. Check in here every now and then and show up at an occasional gathering. You can always get a ride from someone (including me). Even though I don't recall meeting you, I'd be happy to take you out for a cruise or a fishing trip in the future.

Best,
Roger

well drat, I hope your new adventures bring much enjoyment.. It has been a pleasure to meet you, your wit and wisdom will be missed.....unless....you stick around

Perhaps you didn't notice, but there is no way to unjoin the C-Brats without executive help. And you guys won't be getting that kind of help from us! You have to stay, boat or no boat. I have met you fine folks, and I consider you fine friends - something that is not a conscious choice, rather it happens because it is meant to be. So please, consider yourselves part of this rag-tag and rambunctious family for life.

See you on the docks at Bellingham!

Bill and Evelyn,
You two (three I mean) can't get away from me! I look forward to seeing you at our usual meeting spot. And in case any of you other Brats cruise through the Tacoma Narrows, look to the western shore south of the bridge, and you just may see the Bill, Evelyn and Wendy walking the beach. Honk your horn and give them a wave, because they are very special C-Brats. Robbi

Bill, Evelyn & Miss Wendy,

We're really going to miss you. Always enjoyed your company
whenever we were together at a C-Brat gathering. Maybe you can drive up to Bellingham in July and say hello (Or just anytime, don't wait till July!). We'd love to see you again. We don't want to lose touch with
you.

Hugs,

Ruth & Joe

Well phooey! So sorry Braveheart and her engaging owners won't be cruising with us! As has been pointed out, you don't need a boat to enjoy the CBGTs, and I don't think Tyboo is kidding when he says there is no way to unjoin! If I were clever I would send Miss Wendy a photo of Oscar in a heart shaped faux frame, but alas I am a Photoshop dropout...

Bill & Evelyn and Wendy... :cry

Wow.. Bummer. And with a boat's name of Brave Heart to boot... :beer

I agree with all the others... you do not have to have a boat to enjoy our gatherings. This was for sure proven last year at Blakley Island when folks took me in as an indigent care C-Dory owner. I had a blast, and some of the times meeting folks has been at the hotel gatherings in/around the SBS times. Please keep making the gatherings.

Anytime you are on the east side, drop me a note. You have a C-Dory here too....

Yeah! What they all said! Heck, we didn't buy our CD until recently, and were welcomed here for a couple years now...don't go away.

Bill and Evelyn, I'm sorry to hear your news. You two are a principled, gentle and seamless addition to all gatherings. Your sense of humor and spirt of fun and discovery will be much missed.

I hope to see you in the future in another capacity. Perhaps bird watching, beachcombing, or Gig Harboring. You cruised and integrated with a lot of style, and I'll miss your unique charm.

I am glad to have met both of you, and I hope to see you again in the future. Perhaps at a C-Gig or two. Good luck, and be well.
