Spice racks in 22C galley

I noticed the 22 Cruiser at the SBS had a really nice looking spice rack installed. I was told the factory is now installing these on the new 22s. Anyone know if I can get one direct from the factory or who the local supplier is?

No, I didn't get a picture like I should have. The rack looks really nice because it is formed to the cabin wall very nicely.

The other improvement I thought was brilliant was the passenger seat. The locker hatch is under the cushion now instead of on the side. Much better storage solution.

We have several spice racks on both the 25 and TC 255. Just took the teak ones at West Marine and glued them to the cabin side with epoxy & 5200.

If you are looking for a spice rack or two, I would suggest visiting your local home depot and looking over the oak project board rack. With a chop saw, brad nailer and glue, you can make a very nice spice rack or three with turned spindle sides and do the whole project in an afternoon for under $40.00. Take a plastic spice bottle with you so you can select the base board that will be the right width, then use 10 of them to measure the length prior to cutting. You can leave your tape measure in the tool box.

I’ve done a lot with lumber from the project board rack, almost done with my own spice/catch-all rack. Combination of spruce and oak put together with fine stainless screw and Gorilla glue, than stained a dark mahogany or something similar-looks like teak, topped off with 6 to 8 coats spray spar varathane; about $20 or so. Will post pics when complete..
