Does anybody have a current status on the dock at Washington's Doe Island Marine State Park?
I found a blurb on the web at http://www.stateparks.com/doe_island_marine.html implying the dock may no longer be functional as of Aug. 30th, 2010.
We are heading out for some local cruising during the Labor Day weekend and subsequent week and would love to get on some of the State Park docks (far easier then anchoring out or hooking up to a mooring buoy w/ Hannah our 55 pound Husky mix dog).
We will initially be spending the weekend (Saturday & Sunday 9/3 & 9/4) at La Connor previewing things for next year's CBGT there.
Not really sure where to next. Eventually, we will head over to Sequim Bay State Park for the 9/9 - 9/11 Sequim Bay CBGT. Looking forward to seeing those of you who will be going!
Hopefully, folks will be back in school that week and the Washington Marine State Park docks will be far quieter and docks more available then earlier in the season.
Tanks for any insights you can provide.
Take care,
Dan & Tanya Denver on C-Renity
