Our tomcat has twins and I use a suicide knob. It helps in tight quarters when messing with the twins messes with my reflexes. It has been one of my better small item purchases. That being said, I've found that the twins on the tomcat can do most everything that I need IF I have it worked out in my head ahead of time. To me the key is to have a plan AND make sure the engines are aligned straight forward. If they are turned even a bit then things do not go as anticipated. If all else fails, I use the knob and just one engine to maneuver. And as the adage goes, never approach anything faster than you are willing to hit it.
