Sunrises/sunsets

Hi Folks,
We'll get in on this, I think there are more boating pix of fish, sunsets, sunrises, than anything else.
Sunrise at Eastman creek, off South River, about 10 mi. east of Oriental, NC, 10/8/07

Sunset at Town Creek, Beafort, NC, with Morehead City 'skyline' across the water, 10/21/08

Here's one from a paddle trip in Barkley Sound, on Vancouver Island, July 2005. Location is the Parks Canada campsite on Gibraltor Island, one of the inner most islands in the Broken Group. No idea what contributed to the golden hues.

This was a sunrise taken from the deck of our place in Maine a couple of winters ago after the Bay froze over. It had been below zero for about two weeks. The ice was a lot warmer than the air and produced what is locally called "sea smoke".

For pure beauty, this doesn't compare with some of the above pics. For emotion, this is their equal. We'd just come from Rangaroa in the Tuamotas to Tahiti (a couple of days,) and gotten beat up. We were so glad to be anchored in Papatee, and the sunset was beautiful.
