Well susan is on her way to the islands by her self. She will be looking for whales and art shows around the islands. She will be anchoring out if she cant find a dock or buoy to tie to. This is her first time out with the boat all by her self. I will be heading up after work on tuesday and she will come pick me up at washington park launch. So if you see her wondering around stop her and say hi. She will have that dam dog of hers so I would not tie up unless you want him in your boat too. If you all see her give me a call on the side so I know she is ok. thanks.

Hey guys, Im back at work and took a drive out to Olictic point this morning.(Most northerly point of land, road accessible on this Continent) Guess what we saw out there beached on the shores of the Arctic ocean? 2 babes with Dory's and a dog? Could it be?
Mike, Hee Hee Hee!

Shes fast but not that fast. she just called from the sling and is getting under way right now. tld her patty was out and she wanted to know where? Pat can you give a location?

They (Daydream and Halcyon) were in Chuckanut Bay this morning, Bellingham Visitor Dock this afternoon, and I believe headed to Blakely Marina to hook up with Sarge. Best bet would be to call on VHF 68 periodically...

pat, I will let susan know . right now her and the dog are on the west side of San Juan looking for whales. she is having a great time when she called. Hope she does not have to much fun with out me. i may not get my boat back.

I'll start working on Kate immediately. Who knows, in a couple of years she could be on the boat alone. (Assuming I had a MI or severe CVA) and she had to bring me home.

Well, guess you will have less anxiety than I...don't go having that MI or CVA just to get Kate at the helm for Heaven's sake! But seriously, I am really tickled that Patty decided to do this despite her own insecurity about being able to - she can do it, she is Woman, hear her roar!

Tom and Pat, you two are very brave guys! We heard Patty on the radio today in the San Juans. Don't try to start a trend, OK? Roger

Hey - if either Patty, Susan or Robbi want to help give my wife some courage to do the same, I'd appreciate it. I mentioned this thread to her and she gave me that "don't even think about it" look.

Roger – if she can hold up the Eifel Tower, I know she can handle a 22 foot C-Dory by herself..

Very cool thread!

But, Tom, you mentioned that you were concerned about getting "your" boat back??? "Ours" perhaps? :wink If Susan reads that, she may NOT come back for you!

I suppose a new thread titled "Babes on Boats" is too NON-PC, huh? 8)

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan
