Have or do you know if c dorys are going to ever improve their swim step. It seems to be well below most of the boats standards, and just thrown on the back. Is there a reason they've never added a built in fiber glass swim step like many other similar boats in their price range.

Well if you did that you would take away the ability for twins. Most people that have one have a single and maybe a kicker. Some are mounted on the port and some on starboard.

I think that that factory swim steps are pretty nice and they are sturdy. My boat came with one and I added another OEM step on the other side.
