Got my new table finished and installed.
Couple of pics in Raven Dancers album page 2.
One of these days I will figure out how to post a pic in the body of the message.
Dave.

That's a beautiful inlay. Certainly adds a spot of class.

Here is a better look at the inlay. It is very nice work Dave.

Very nice. How did you make it so that the compass always points north?

Thanks for fixing my pictures Harvey.
By the way are you going to Friday Harbor ?

That's a beautiful job. Are you going to drop a piece of glass or plexi in it? The reason I ask is that with the edge trip you have a little lip all around the 3 sides away from the cabin wall. Without a piece of glass or plexi, it will be hard to wipe crumbs or other stuff off the surface. On some of the tables I've seen on various boats, the trim is made flush in an area at each corner to all one to wipe the crumbs out.

Yes I cut a piece of plexi - glass to fit over the entire surface of the table,Thought of making some crumb corners, but decided not to.
It was a long and challenging project that had me practicing my cussing and praying at the same time, like please God let this blankety blank angle fit in this other blankety blank angle 😀😀
Anyway I'm calling it done.
Thank you all for the nice comments.
