Please disregard my blank post, it wont let me delete.

As usual this wacky format will not allow me to attach any photos, to a forum..... Was hoping to show photos from a great day of tuna, but going to give up after 45 min. Guess thats why I dont come on here much anymore.....

If anyone is interested they are in my album.

Thanks

Looks like a fantastic day of fishing!

Really love the Red boats!

Great boat and tuna--you should come here and tell us how to get a haul like that!

It not only has all of them tuna, but the right kind of dogs looking after them.

For the photos, click on the photos, and get the image address--paste that image address after
.

You could fit alot more on your 25 cruiser.

Amazing! I'm dreaming of a Tuna run. Did you use live bait? Out of Westport?

All trolling clones, Towed down to Coos Bay. All fish were only 18 miles out.

Don't think the forum has changed much since you joined. It does work differently for different folks (systems), and it does take some learning but it is doable. (Maybe just like your fishing, bet you didn't get that kind of haul on your first day out.)

Depending on your interface (iOS or Android, computer, tablet or phone), can all make some difference.

If I can do it, anyone can learn it.

Anyone up for Tuna trips in 2020? I'm based in Victoria and have been drooling over reports from Bamfield, Ukulet and Nootka Sound. Happy to travel down to WA to buy gas and fish with someone else but hesitant to take my current trailer down to unfamiliar launches.

I've fished Tuna Commercially 20 years ago and I'm a pretty good hand. Happy to team up with another C-Brat and have two boats going out.

Keep the post coming if you have one to report.

Come join me on my boat or buddy boat anytime. I hope to do at least 4 trips in 2020.

It has been a great year for albacore on the west coast. We got them 18 nm out of Crescent city ca. and then again at 14 nm out of Eureka The warm clear water stayed here for almost 4 weeks. Previous years it has been a 30 to 50 nm run. They are still close out of Ft Bragg and Bodega Bay. The last time I've seen this was 2004 when we caught a 25 Lb salmon and an Albacore within 20 mins of each other.

Thank you! So cool what a great year for you guys.

We got skunked halibut fishing Saturday but had a grey whale check out out for 15 minutes! Highlight of my sons summer, at least his dads.

Looking forward to being in a C-Dory Tuna run soon!!!

One of the reasons we bought the tomcat was for tuna. I would love! To make a group run especially if peeps are willing to share knowledge.
