I don't know, that is pretty heavy dude. It's great!

And you remind me of why I rarely visit the C-Brats anymore. It's really mostly you.localboy":3ikaljfr said:rogerbum":3ikaljfr said:Science will also tell you that those are not the only combination of sex chromosomes that occur naturally in the human population. XXY, XYY, XXXY all occur in frequencies of 1 part in a few 1000. I knew an individual who was XXY and who had both male and female parts. He both identified and appeared as male on the outside. He ultimately committed suicide at least partially due to issues relating to others being able to accept him as he was.

Yes and people are born, sadly, with myriad birth defects so your argument regarding XXY, XYY and XXXY etc is moot. As to "gender" vs "sex" it appears a very convenient false differentiation. Kinda like life begins at conception.
But to know either of the above, you'd actually have to have faith and cherish and value life.

I have been an exclusive Mac user for 30 years, so will the Bill Gates Micro Chip that is being injected into my arm tomorrow work on me? Also the Astro-Zenica vaccine I am getting tomorrow was made in India, will Bill Gates need a translator program to steal all my personal information? Or can Bill Gates still steal all my information from Google and Facebook without the microchip? Too many questions, maybe I should keep hiding under my rock so the rest of the world can't see me.

Last September, well before anyone knew if or when vaccines may be approved, my music partner and I did this video...

Barry, this will be interesting; however, remember that antidotal data is not particularly meanful....it might be interesting, but you can't make any conclusions based on it. The only way one can research and get meaningful data is to find and understand scientifically controlled studies (preferably double blind) with a relatively large number of participants.".....has anyone had first hand experience with, or knowledge of, a case of COVID that was treated with this drug that met with success"
I can't comment on it curing COVID that you already have, but I took it as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania, working in Angola for World Vision, and working in the Brazilian Amazon. I don't know if it cures COVID, but it must prevent getting COVID!Barry Rietz":1qmosuwa said:Because this thread has produced some exceptional commentary we all are benefiting from, lets take things a bit further and do some of our own fact finding. The subject of "hydroxychloroquine sulfate" has not come up recently here, or in the abnormal media so lets start with this question: "has anyone had first hand experience with, or knowledge of, a case of COVID that was treated with this drug that met with success"?
My day job is as faculty member in one of the top 10 microbiology departments in the world. While I don't have "first hand" experience with that treatment, I have read the scientific literature related to it and I just got done teaching a course the was entirely a lay audience view of SARS-CoV2 and COVID. The literature in which hydroxychloroquine sulfate has been tested as a treatment for SARS-CoV2 shows no net positive effect of this drug on SARS-CoV2 or the progression to COVID. This I do know. Hydroxychloroquine is a member of a class of drugs that have been used in the treatment/prevention of malaria for many decades. There is no doubt malaria was the reason you were given that drug in your Peace Corps days. It would have nothing to do with COVIDrobhwa":3qt7ia4g said:I don't know if it cures COVID, but it must prevent getting COVID!
Thanks Roger, that corrects my faulty memory. I remember hydroxychloroquine had something to do with hospitalization. So it actually lengthens hospital stays! That jogs my memory. I now seem to remember that the use of hydroxychloroquine was used to slow down the immune system in patients that were at risk of dying, not from COVID itself, but from the damage to lung tissue being caused by an aggressive immune system in response to the COVID infection. A very specific use which is why the regulators allowed its controlled use only in hospital situations. BTW, I also remember that the class of drugs that includes hydroxychloroquine is also used to treat autoimmune diseases such as lupus (which is why the government discouraged ordinary folks from taking hydroxychloroquine for COVID since lupus patients were having trouble getting their prescriptions filled due to increased demand).rogerbum":3qt7ia4g said:"This antimalarial agent slows down the normalization of the body's inflammatory response and lengthens the time spent in the hospital. Rob, sorry. I thought it strange, but I took your comment seriously. I guess I hear just too much "alternative facts" these days. I must be shell shocked.I guess my attempt at humor didn't work!
