Greetings all brats, Ruth am I are new boat owners and new forum goers.
This seems backward from what most have done but we bought boat and then learn about forum from the old owner.

We bye 25 ft. boat called huda thunkit from a man close by where we live. Is nice boat and we look for spring now to get out and use it. Maybe brats can help with name change, probly nice Jewish name would be good.

Ve will not take up lot-f time and ramble here as not our way but want to sey hello. Maybe see you in the water. Do i get cap or anything for joining club?
Excuse my poor English skill.

Welcome Martin and Ruth, :thup

While you're thinking of a new name for your boat, Here are a few things to keep in mind. Make it a name most people can pronounce..If it isn't English, it automatically becomes "HEY YOU in the XXX (color) Boat", and paint it on in Letters that can be read over 50 ft. away. :smileo

Last of all, Walt Woodard used to say, "When you've decided on a name for your boat, go out in the street and holler it three times at the top of your lungs.....If you don't feel like a complete fool....Go ahead and put it on your boat." :thup ....... :smiled Jack

That's what I did when we named our dog "Honey".....I stood on a street corner called her name out three times and all the cute women came running to me........ :smilep ......and they kept on running past me.... :crook

(P.S. Welcome to C-Brats, Martin!)

Oh he's a Brat for sure. The puzzle is which one? I have a short list of suspects but the perp will probably be revealed at SBS.

Jim and Boris --

Yours was my instantaneous response to this post -- a couple of other details also narrowed my eyes. But then I'm generally either excessively gullible or excessively suspicious.

In defense of Mr. Goldman, the residents of Alaska are currently faced with the daunting prospects of contemplating, and in no particular order, (1) the onset of winter, (2) the return of Governor Palin and (3) the continuing saga of Senator Stevens.

One can readily forgive them for retreating into a little flight of fancy for diversion sake.

Are Ve sure dis isn't mine old friend "Euben Hadde"? :wink I keep sending him money to substantiate the claim to my South African inheritance. :sad

Girdwood, population 1817, is a suburb of Anchorage and is now perhaps best known as the location of the home of Sen. Ted Stevens, the rennovation of which featured so prominently in his recent trial! Perhaps there is a C-Dory rennovation coming. Since Stevens house had a story added, perhaps the CD-25 will get a new name and a fly bridge! Perhaps even a pot puller to go along with the leg puller already aboard.

Why so mean are brats to a new guy? If the club had 100 rules I can understand breaking one sometimes but you only have one rule?

To lach out would not make me a better person and would break the rule, I think I just ignore all this.

At the the risk of becoming a "ME TOO" :smileo ....Me too! :wink But what were the boats named?? I believe most M.P.B. are just numbered :smiled Jack
