I received the following request the other day...

I have a request. With Veteran's Day fast approaching, it got me to thinking. How about another special photo album in the "Special Events and Meaningful Momentos" area like we did for Veteran's Day back in 2005? Bet there's lots of folks who'd like to post pics of their loved ones in far away places in service to this great country.

So - here's the album. Let's fill it up with pics, and share stories here of those we're proud of.

Thanks, Bill. Harvey (Sleepy-C) came to our ceremony at the base in Port Angeles today. 1000 people in the hangar from all over the peninsula. It was real nice.

Rick, thanks for the invite. The ceremony at the Port Angeles Coast Guard Air Station was very impressive. Everything, John Philip Sousa to Amazing Grace on the bagpipes, and representatives from every branch of service.

Thanks to all the vets here, and to all who remember.
