want to buy 22 cruizer

looking for a used 22 cruizer in or around charleston south carolina. please contact with any leads. would like to put rooftop a/c on has anybody done this? small generator could fit in back area but concerned about heat close to fuel tanks. thanks
 
You are probably going to have to travel to find the boat. See my Thataway Album, on putting on the roof top airconditioner. I have some more detailed photos of cutting the wood frame for the inside if you wish, PM me.

On the 22 or 25, probably the generator needs to go in a rack in the cockpit. I will be making one for my 25 and put photos up shortly. There is no problem with the gas--but CO--so the exhaust must be directed away from the boat.
 
thanks for your reply. yes will probally have to go to florida. Have one for sale here in charleston. however, can not get any history on the boat. on consingment with local dealer.
 
History is probably less important that current condition of the boat and engine. You may want a Marine Survey, and a good outboard mechanic to go over the boat. A lot depends on the year and model of the engine. The 22's rarely have any serious problems with the hulls.
