Heres a web site for water levels in all washington state rivers

the sky jumped up last night over 8 ft. When I crossed the snohomish this morning on the way to work. The tide was incoming hitting hi and the wind and river water was running out at a high flow, It caused a area of standing waves just like in some of the passes in the islands. really nasty day out there.
 
I use that site all the time to watch the water level of the Raging when we have weather like this.

It allows me a little peace of mind while I work being able to check to see that the water level hasn't gotten high enough to flood. The heavy rains we had last year were as close as I want to get! We were within inches of having the river over the bank!
