We were straight out in 300' of water. One was caught at 150' on the wire using bait in a teaser hood, the other was at 45' using a Cookies 'n' Cream spoon. That spoon got a lot of hits from chinook and coho alike. We had to turn back some pretty nice wild coho. They were close to 10 pounds, so given it's only June, they're gonna be some hogs by the time they hit the river this fall.
I also heard of a surprising number of kings in the 20# class caught for being this early in the season. August should have some pretty big fish showing up.
