Where's Joe (Sea Wolf)?

I am in Sac right now but dont have a car to use, we are visiting, other wise I would drive up and track him dowm. hopefully he,s just camping on the back of the lake out of cell or internet service. I do remember that the las ttime he went off the res. It was a health problem. Do hope he's ok.

Tom – rent a car and go find Joe. I will help pay for the rental. If others will help that will be great. If not, I will donate $250 to the cost of a rental, if you will go.

Let's not go on a manhunt yet. Brent sent me his phone number and address via PM, I'll call this morning when the sun comes up in CA! Will advise alcon when I find something out.

Charlie

I just called his house, no answer and didn't leave a message on his machine because Brent said he already did. Hopefully Joe and family are just on an extended trip. If anyone knows names of a relative in Redding CA, let me know and I'll try to contact them. I know there are some family pictures in his album, I'll see if I can get a name from a caption there.

Charlie

If he gets it, he'll post on this site! I found another person in Redding with the same last name. It's different enough that they may be related. I'm going to call that number later today.

Charlie

Nothing new to report. Have left ans machine messages on Joe's home phone in Redding and on his son Mark's machine. That they're both out, gives me hope that it's an extended family vacation. I'll let everyone know when I hear something.

Charlie

Thank you Charlie for the update. For the last several days we've been checking the site many times a day for info on Joe. We'll keep checking.

This time of year there are some great huckleberries not far above the shoreline NE Shasta. Supose they went pickin'? By now there should be a good freezer full though.

Hurry back Joe, You are missed.

I thought I put this in and then missed it so, tried again. It was that pause thing I think.

Sorry old grow but I had to catch the plane and missed your post. Its dam funny for him to be gone so long. I hope he turns up soon. Great lose to all that know him if its for the worse. hopefully just on a trip. Hey I know joe hunts and its that time of year. maybe hes in camp some where???

Hey guys!

Sorry to leave you hanging, but I did say incidently in a post before I left that my wife and I were going to the Caribbean for a few weeks! *

6000 miles by boat and 4000 miles by plane later, I'm sorry to say that the only real change affected has been my waistline!

Don't ask me why anyone goes to the tropics in the middle of summer in the U.S., (ask my wife instead), but suprisingly the temperatures on the boat were rarely over 85 degrees (with the same % humidity), but ashore we were left a-steamin' it up like crawdads in a cajun skillet!

Thanks so much for the genuine concern and appreciation, I'll be more direct and explicit to let all of you great folks know of my plans.

*("Got to go now to set a new land speed record on my jet ski at Shasta Lake and to the Carribean for a few weeks starting tomorrow. ")

Thanks, again!

Joe.

Good to see you back, safe and sound. You know this site's like family and ya' gots to give family more details when you're not around.

I'm thinkin' we need to put a GPS ankle bracelet on Joe, so we can keep track of him...... :wink

Here he is lying around in the tropical sun, consuming exotic "umbrella drinks" while some of us are up here in the wet and soggy NW worrying about him. Guess I'll have to go fix a hot buttered rum to consume, since I don't have to be worried about him tonight!

If I didn’t enjoy reading his post so much, I would say we should ground him for 18 days. The number of days he left us hanging here worrying about him.

Welcome Back Joe.
