OKay definitely on the Thats Life thread this time :D

http://youtu.be/b0u8cTCYLSw

At least watch the first 8:33 seconds, listen to the old man to get a peace of my heart :)

(I think that link is the 2011 version)

Even though it might mean the loss of "freedom" I love this kind of stuff.

If we're here to get to know one another or keep an enemy closer (?) LOL ... this I highly recommend to everyone! it's needs to go viral!! :rose

"your old road is rapidly fading, please get out a new one if you can't lend your hand for the times are a changing" :note :xtongue

And while we're at it, shall we find some pictures why alcohol and steeling and greed ... murder and genocide should not be legal...

"Freedom" (really its just a greedy free-for-all at other nations cost) look at the world its made! Not just "hippies" but today millions are able to see the folly of the dominant culture that turns the world into an over poopulated cesspool of pollution, inequality and violence. I can tell watched it :)

Is there any intelligent life left among boaters, indoors or out?

Have you given up on learning =\

If so, get it back...

Set aside a few months for a book called "A Brief History of Everything" (emergent theory) :idea

And for what it's worth, I don't follow any one scholars philosophy or faith 100% I find many objections.

The Zeitgeist movies are awesome for exposing the fake money values and the trap we are in, but I find the atheist claims throughout, embarrassing and and utterly egotistical... stuck in flatland.

Just so ya know :wink

An even better read is "Dancing With the Wu Li Masters." All about quantum physics for dummies. Opens up a whole different world and to me, makes all other reads; political, philosophical and techno-religious, kind of irrelevant.

alright, don't make me come down there!!:xtongue

I get a rash over the Eastern philosophy and spirituality :embarrased not my cup-o-tea, but I've never run into an author as Ken W, who can make so clear that everything is spiritual.

Thanks for the post! Going to look into another dummy book :) I just love that kind of stuff! makes life electric :idea the one I have is an introduction to emergent theory in Q&A form

I saw that movie a long time ago. Never did figure out how the little girl got into the TV.

"Go into the light. There is peace and serenity in the light."

Mike I am finding a few of them out there, I think they did one annually?

The light to me is and always will be Christianity! :love Just not the versions polluted with politics or nationalism, the early church version that actually lived in ways where no one had need...
:hot

Okay, sorry to be "Mr doom and gloom", but how bout this one: "COLLAPSE" (Micheal Ruppert) found it on Netflix but here's the trailer...

http://youtu.be/WAyHIOg5aHk

(I don't think the guy is religious either) :)

I'm not sure what "faith" the man is, don't care, my homing device tells me there is truthfulnes in this at least! :love

I once heard a man say "the stone age was the only sustainable age"

My 2 cents on it all: avoid literalistic, nihilistic, xenophobic interpretations of the Bible. Perfect love cast out all fear. There are millions of good people out there and many great hearts and minds that can help a troubled soul shed that rotten old conservative doom and gloom of the past about God.

One of the best books on that is "Letters From a Sceptic" (Dr. Greg Boyd) and I also recommend CS Lewis… and lots of others.

Or one can always head East ;)
