By that, do you mean you took them all the way out and it still won't come off? If so, use a little pry bar and wiggle them, should release then. Otherwise, use about a half pound of C-4 and stand back. Then go buy a new boat... :disgust

The motor was defunct when I bought the boat this year. Bought it from Marinco Electrical. There were no set screws in the arm. Retapped to 1/4" and used a SS fitting set screw. As far as removing the arm. . . the boat was purchased with the arm detached.
