Has anyone got an idea on a way to make Afi single speed wipers run in a delay sequence? My 2009 19 has electric wipers on two switches so at least I can run one side or the other. I've seen the comments on a momentary switch which could be done, but anyone done a intermittant like on cars? Maybe a rheostat 12 volt switch? :D

rheostat is what you need, this device will work as a momentary like switch just wire inline and use dial for wiper timing, easy!

I think a rheostat will just slow it down. It will take a special circuit like they have in cars that will pulse it once in awhile and then let it "park". Maybe a car place has one.... Since all cars have them now, finding one may be very hard.

Brilliant. How about a car windshield washer device to go with it. Although if you have seen my recent post regarding being in sunny 'warm' Florida may I suggest, after 10 days of 'f'ing cold that if I were here with my C, I would have to put anti-freeze in the bucket that holds the stuff'!

Years ago before they were popular I cobbled together a alarm system on a van. I used a turn signal flasher to make the headlights and horn blink. You might experiment with various sizes of flashers or capacitors to create intermitten operation.

 Hey thanks everybody, there are some good ideas there. I'll tinker on it and keep you posted. I can hardly wait fo it to warm up here to get out there. Lakes are all frozen here around Nanaimo and that is a very rare thing. :smiled

I'm up for 2 of the JC Whitney models. In rough water, I hate taking my hands off the wheel.
