Wow...no, seriously. Wow.

I think the record fell in an attempt to get away from the music. Ever hear of George Strait?

I think it's now clear why you bought that fish alarm.

I would have too, were I in a constant state of "nap".

Seems totally legit to me. I also had no trouble finding it on the Washington Secretary of State corporations search, but I have had a lot of practice with that - better to use one word and the "contains" criterion. Lots of non-profits are not 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations. Not a 501(c)(3) because not an eligible purpose for a tax exemption. Whether you think it is worthwhile to give money to send two kids to private school is another matter - not my cup of tea. We need the money to put our own third kid through a state university. Two down and one to go!

I'm sending the guy five bucks and wishing him and the two kids the very best.

We were heading up Chinook Pass a few miles west of Naches, WA yesterday and saw someone running pushing a baby carriage with no baby in it. Sounds like it's the same guy. He got to Eastern Washington just in time for the 100F heat wave.

I hope he knows enough to pace himself and run only early and late when it's cooler. I run all of the time in 90F + heat, but you have to be acclimatized to avoid problems. A few years ago a Seattle bicyclist died near our house on a hot day.

I'm not interested in debating his motives, I have a reoccurring hamstring pull and I'm just glad to see someone young and fit enough to attempt this feat.

One day, an old man was walking along a beach that was littered with thousands of starfish that had been washed ashore by the high tide. As he walked he came upon a young boy who was eagerly throwing the starfish back into the ocean, one by one.

Puzzled, the man looked at the boy and asked what he was doing. Without looking up from his task, the boy simply replied, "I'm saving these starfish, Sir".

The old man chuckled aloud, "Son, there are thousands of starfish and only one of you. What difference can you make?"

The boy picked up a starfish, gently tossed it into the water and turning to the man, said, "It made a difference to that one!"
