Yamaha 1000,s in tandem.

I have recently purchased a Yamaha 1000 generator and am questioning the possibility of linking another Yamaha 1000 if a need for more output presents itself.
Has anyone addressed this issue?

Also, thanks for all the input on the spotlight. Not purchasing a spotlight gave me some resources to sink into the generator. Is this a disease or not?

Two Honda 1000i generators can be linked together just like two Honda 2000is.

Thanks for the return. Our generator is a Yamaha and not a Honda. I might have made an unwise purchase considering our wish to combine two 1000s. I have searched the Yamaha site but there is no mention of combining two units. Oh well. Let every day be a learning experience.
