Yamaha parts source?

Shipyard island Marina up on Washington Island here in Wisconsin in Door County. I believe their website is like SIMYamaha or something like that. The owner/mechanic there can also offer good advice and is pretty up to speed with digital technology. (Andy). Colby

You can get a lot of parts for Yamaha outboards at any Yamaha motorsports dealer (motorbikes, ATV, etc.). You won't get a lot of advice though.

Boats.net is pretty good on parts advice. Don't know about serviceability issues.

Bob beat me to it...

Second Andy or anyone at

SIMYamaha.com

Andy explained my options in trying to connect my Yamaha engine ECM outputs onto my N2K backbone back in 2017: “There is the Yamaha way, and then there are other ways.”

The local 5-star dealers and techs had no clue.

I ended up not buying the Yamaha Gateway/Hubs ($900), but have bought lots of maintenance packages from them. The pro advice is fantastic, free and very competitive prices with shipping.
