Does anyone use a kicker motor on the starboard side?

Thanks big time. I'm still learning how to find things on this updated site!

Does anyone use a kicker motor on the starboard side?

I was just going to grab photos from my computer files and upload a few here, but then realized that in cleaning up my computer I deleted all my Midnight Flyer photos. Probably not one of my smarter moves! (I figured since I had put most my mods in albums here, and sold that boat, I didn't need...

Does anyone use a kicker motor on the starboard side?

Tyboo or DaNag, has any improvement been made on categorizing our photo albums? I was trying to find Midnight Flyer's nested album on its kicker install, and didn't have any luck finding that album or photos.

Does anyone use a kicker motor on the starboard side?

Both my previous 22 and my current 25 have the kicker on the starboard side. Not a problem. If you can find it, my photo album for Midnight Flyer, (my previous 22), has an embedded album of my kicker install on that boat.

    2004 C-Dory 25 for Sale

Hi Dale. Surprised to see you selling See-Ya, but I can understand. While I like having the 25, I do miss the 22 at times. Best of luck in finding a trade. I would imagine there are a few out there desiring the upgrade. Colby

    Dangling Rope Marina

Just saw this excellent link in regards to the removal of Dangling Rope Marina at Lake Powell. I visited Dangling Rope Canyon this past April and October when I was on Lake Powell. Sad to see everything gone, but with the lower water levels I don't think there would be room for the facilities...

2026 Hontoon Island Gathering. March 3,4,5. DeLand Florida on St. John’s river.

Rosanne and I will be bowing out this year. Rosanne is planning on going on a medical mission to El Salvador during the same time frame, and we both chose that I stay home during this time, rather than coming solo to Hontoon. This gathering is definitely one of my favorites, and the perfect...

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

I don't see corrosion on the pads or calipers. Could just be the photo lighting. Mystery Girl Bill reminded me he has had to replace pads half a dozen times as well. Also Pacific Trailer inexpensive ones. I think those are the same ones I have rebuilt the calipers with. So I'm thinking it's...

    Winterizing

Oh, I've done that several times....but not part of my annual maintenance. (I wish it was. I wouldn't have to do it as often. lol)

    Winterizing

FWIW, I tend to do all my annual maintenance at the end of the season, and consider it part of winterizing the boat. The plugs, fuel filters, oil and oil filters are all changed out. Motors are lubed, including pulling the props and relubing the shafts and checking to make sure no fishing line...

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

Well, the bronze bushings still seem to be doing fine. Even going through the Rockies. However, I did have another brake pad fail on the way to Lake Powell. After launching, I found one of the brake pads missing with just the metal backing plate still there. And while doing my annual...

Bosch Tronic 3000T ES2.5 Electric Water Heater

Your annual reminder to check your anodes. I haven't been able to access the ones in my kicker (Yamaha 9.9), but the Yamaha 150 are pretty easy to get at. I just pull them out and clean them up with my bench grinder wire wheel. Once again, the anode on my Bosch water heater had a lot of wear...

    LoadRite Trailer hardware

Thanks Tyboo. So I went to that site, and scrolled through pretty fast. Got 87%. Nothing came up about getting a free bottle of the Orange stuff. Then saw that there was a place to register and login, so went through that and took the course again....passing with the same score. Nothing...

    LoadRite Trailer hardware

Just a heads up. After traveling another 1700 miles with C-Traveler in tow, on our interstate highways that seem to be getting worse in the way of washboard bumps, after launching the boat, I found that the main bolt that attaches the two side rails to the center tongue, had lost it's nut and...

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

Follow up. Just thought I'd follow up with my changeover from the rubber bushings to bronze. So far the brakes seem to be working fine. I did have a brake pad go missing on my last trip to Pirates Cove Marina on the Erie Canal, but replaced it before returning home. (Pad appears to have...

How can I run my hot water heater while under way?

I do use solar water bags on the roof that work great on sunny days. But that may not be often in the PNW…
