We really do have twin 40 Suzukis with a Tohatsu 6 as a kicker on a garelick bracket. Mostly the 6 is used on the dinghy, I do not enjoy rowing. But it's nice to know it's there. We do troll for salmon with it on occasion. Karl

On our 22 they are both drawing from either the port or starboard tank, depending on which tank is selected. Our kicker runs off a portable tank. Karl

Often left out of the debate is the twins and a kicker option. Works for us. Karl

Hi Bob, Simply the elevation needed to use the stock garhauer lift put too much torque on the chosen mounting point. The result was flexing on the side of the cabin that surprisingly didn't break a window. The garhauer can lift the pudgy no problem. I just like to do. Sometimes it works out...

Well, we were able to get it up on top but, it just isn't going to work with the garhauer. So the garhauer will be deployed as the kicker lift between the C-dory and the Pudgy. And the Pudgy will be towed for now. karl

Yep, this just isn't going to work. At least I got a kicker hoist out of it.

Anyone with permatrims have experience with a following swell on the quarter? Do they get grabbed like trim tabs that are left too far down? Do they get grabbed in your normal running position? Thanks, Karl
