    $10 burger

Personally, I don't much care for Dick's Burgers. My wife loves them though. You can also try Fat Burger (only one I know of is in Issaquah). And if you REALLY want to pig out on a burger come out to Fall City and stop at the Riverside Tavern for a La Boomba. Great Burgers! They have both Half...

    C-Dory has been sold

Fluid Marine Rich, Congratulations on your new endeavor. I'm sure everyone on this site is interested in your success. The Tolands and Reynolds left you a wonderful legacy to live up to. I'm sure there are exciting times ahead! Chivita Dave, That was a great story! Thanks for posting it! It...

    Surge brake frustrations backing uphill

Something else you could do is to wire in a toggle switch on your dash that provides power directly from a switched power source to your wire on the trailer plug. This way you can be on level ground, activate the switch then pull up to your driveway and back in. You just have to make sure to...

    Towing a 25 ft. cruiser

McMike, IMHO you would be pushing the limits of the 1/2 ton Dodge. I wouldn't do it. I would wait and find a suitable 3/4 ton or 1 ton. The difference in cost from a half ton is usually not too much (unless you go diesel). And the difference in fuel prices is probably a wash. So why get...

    Cat Fever Pictures Finally Posted

Very nice work! Can I ship my 27' down to you for some similar mods? :) Very well done. And the lack of stripes makes that one plain cat. Quite different looking.

    Towing resistance

When installing those calipers it is a good idea to use a high temperature waterproof grease (I like to use synthetic grease). Make sure to put locktite on the threads too.

    Towing a 25 ft. cruiser

Ed, I hope you never get in an accident while towing your boat with that vehicle. More than likely the insurance company will not cover the repairs as you are seriously overweight towing that boat with the Nissan. And the likelihood of getting into an accident seriously increases when you are...

    Alternatives to C-Dory?

Having owned one of the "better" brands of Aluminum boats on the market here in the NW. I have to say that I loved my North River. It was a great boat and I still regret selling it. The new owner is an aquaintance of mine and has done a lot of things to it after I sold it to him and it now...

    Moving to Electrics...

I got mine at Outdoor Emporium. But I would guess that you would be able to find them at 3 Rivers in Woodinville too. Here is their website. http://www.folbe.com/ Watch the video they have. They work as easily as in the video. They are great. I typically will hit the lock button when the rod is...

    Moving to Electrics...

Warren, I've never actually used the Canon's that adjust to the bottom depth. I'm just giving my opinion. I personally have 3 Scotty Electrics that work just fine for me :) Oh, mate those downriggers up with the Folbe rod holders! They are simply awesome! When a fish hits simply lift the rod...

    Moving to Electrics...

Warren, IMHO the bottom following downrigger feature is a very expensive gimmick that can't ever work very well. The problem is that even though the downrigger goes up and down with the bottom, you have to sit at the downrigger and constantly adjust the line on the real each time the downrigger...

    Columbia River Spring Chinook 2008

Looks like I'll be hitting the Kalama in a drift boat on Thursday May 1st. I'm hoping for a good day on the river. If I get a fish that will just make it all that much better! :)

Frsh Water Rinse for Honda 40 Twins

There should be a fitting available from Honda that will screw into the block by the thermostat housing. You would then simply take off the engine cover. screw in the housing, hook up the hose and flush it with fresh water.

    Cockpit Steering Station on TC255

Why? I'm setting up my 27' to have an aft station. The steering is hydraulic and the throttle/shift will be cables run as a slave to the front controls. Very simple system that has been used on many a cruiser over the years.

New Honda lean burn ect. "07"

Tom, RE: the cold engine temp performance... This sounds to me like you have a problem with the thermostat not closing sufficiently to limit the water flow through the engine. I would contact your dealer and talk to them about that.

    1990 26ft Custom Cruiser $????

Karl, Is this the 26' Deep V hull or the 27' flat bottom hull? I'm thinking since you have an offshore bracket and the bow pulpit it must be the deep V 26' like on the angler we were talking about a couple weeks ago. I would love to see some pictures!

    C-Dory Pro Angler 25

I remember that boat Bill. I really like the "Walk Around" cabin. Without the flying bridge I think C-Dory could sell a lot of those boats here in the PNW. When it was for sale I was looking to buy a boat. But it was priced way out of my budget so I had to pass.

    Tips on starting the kicker

Spark plugs are cheap. Just replace them! In this kind of situation I will typically change the plugs, and then get out the can of starter fluid. This is VERY not recommended so do it at your own risk! Spray a very small amount in the air intake, start to crank it over and then close the...
