In the Sensei photo album go to transome repair to see what was done to the Sensei. It was a total transom replacement with all new balsa core and new interior fiberglass.

I had a 1983. It came with a 65 evinrude 2 stroke I repowered with a 90 hp evinrude ficht and it was a nice fit for the boat

As to your question, no, not all can have twin motors. The clasics (pree 1988) do not have a wide transom. Not roomfor twins
