    New 23 Venture on order

Hi- congrads on your new boat, you picked the best dealer in the area as far as I'm concerned. These guys/gals really try to make it happen. I use to take my 16' to them for service even though I was in Ca. & on the east coast of Fl. and a lot of time in N.E. These are real boat people and work...

    CURTANS FOR 22

Hi All-- I just finished having curtains made for my boat. I found out that there are actually two types of sunbrella material one is a lighter weight material and one is somewhat heavier. I went with the Off White heavier material even though it took an upholstery sewing machine to do the job...

Hi Jim & Dave-- Ok, I think I will just follow the two of you. I probably will have to just follow your wake since that heavy 44' steel barge will probably only do about 6-8 mph tops. Thanks Rich

    Step stool for 16 cruiser?

Hi--I used a small Icy-Tec cooler (25 lbs.) which is built very strong, I just added non skid on the top and bottom for my interior step, also works well as an extra seat and as a cooler and it dosen't take up much space. Rich

Rick--- think Henry B's in Seneca Falls it's a standup joint ,a little pricey but, great wine list & great food. Italian food made by real Italians. Two can actually share one plate. Sort of reminds me of a 1950's NY steakhouse without the red leather. Has had lots of good reports and coments...

    Interesting Tug

Herb---this tug reminds me of a Pilgrim, except it appears to be possibly wooden. I know those guys in Maine can still build some great wooden boats. If it is actually from Maine orginially, this could be a one of a kind design. This is like something I would buy! ----Rich

Thanks Rick---- I will check with the barge companies Monday. Nick- thanks for the info. Looks like Aug will be the best time for me. I'll try to make plans now to get a large enough canal boat with A/C for use as a mother ship or else as a party barge for everyone. I assume we are talking from the 8th of Aug to around the 15th.---Rich
