The potluck on Sat. is at the hotel. It's the dinner on Friday that was canceled until another location can be found.

Thanks Roger. I guess I was just looking at a close meeting place that was available to get together. I know that was for a midweek time though. Sorry, didn't mean to cause any confusion.

I don't think anyone is showing a Tomcat at the Seattle boat show but if you have someone that is "really" interested in seeing one, I keep mine on Lake union about 15 min walk from the in-water south Lake Union Docks. Let me know and I can try and make arrangements to show it to them.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday night.

If you are still interested in seeing a Tomcat and going to the pot luck we can meet a little early and walk over to see the boat from the hotel or the south lake union Venue.
It that does not work contact me directly I will try and work around your travel schedule .

Friday night dinner, 7pm

Serafina italian restaurant.

It is a little east of the lake. Great Italian food. I have eaten there many a time. It is 0.6miles from the hotel. A little bit of a walk. So I can shuttle people to and from the hotel.

I will be making the reservation for 7pm . I will call tomorrow to talk to the management to make a reservation for 10-12. The night staff was nervous. go figure.

Thanks for the Friday Dinner update and for all your efforts in re-booking a new restaurant reservation for the group Susan!

Although I am not aware of the details, it sure seems pretty unprofessional for the Chupacabra (i.e. the formerly planned restaurant) to have cancelled the C-Brats reservation after having committed to seating us especially so close to the dinner date.

Anyway, thanks again for the efforts you and Tom dedicate to making the SBS CBGT happen!

Take care,
Dan & Tanya on Echo

Serafina's is a great restaurant. Note that if you don't want to drive, walk or impose on Susan for shuttle service, there's a good bus route that runs there from the hotel. Seattle metro bus route 70 has a stop just in front of the hotel and within a block or so of Serafina's. It runs every 10-15 mins in both directions for the vast majority of the day. Should cost $2.50 for the ride. Get a transfer - they are supposed to only be good for one hour, but often the driver tears them so they are good for 2-3 hours. If so, you've got a free ride back. Otherwise, it's another $2.50. Still it's easier than trying to park near Serafina's.

So apparently you do not have a reservation unless you have talked to the manager.

Serafina restaurant is now out. The manager says they cannot see that many people at that time.

The new dinner reservation for Friday night at 7 p.m. is at Buca de Beppo. It's about the same distance. But in the other direction. So very close. Again I will shuttle people, for those who don't want to walk. So cross your fingers that this manager doesn't call me back and cancel reservation.

Thanks
Susan

Just got confirmation from Marty at Master Marine that they WILL have a TomCat on display at the show, for those who were asking. He said he'll be there the full 9 days, just ask for Marty Smith and he'll gladly show you the boat.

-Mike

Marty just added that Master Marine will also have a 22 Cruiser and a 25 Cruiser, in addition to the Tomcat at the show, but I think that was already figured out from an earlier post. Anyway, now we know for sure it will be those 3 models on display this year.

There is an album set up for all the pictures.

Lois and I are still hacking from the colds we have had for a couple weeks so we will not be there in person. It's not impossible that we may drive up for the afternoon on Saturday but not too likely.

You all have fun and thanks for carrying on this grand tradition!
