03/10 - 03/12 - Poulsbo, WA

Pat, The forecast for the uplands out of North Bend is 39 degrees by 1pm and 42 by 4pm. Now that is all well and good, unless you get an accumulation of snow that doesn't melt. That hill is a bugger. I will think warm thoughts.

We are at 300 feet and it is 39 degrees and no precip 6:45 am. Robbi

Pat and Patty, that's good news. It's been snowing hard here all morning, but the roads are clear. We're also loading the boat now, just dropped off the dogs  and will be on our way by 1 p.m. We are up for dinner out tonight and will trust your advice on restaurants since we haven't been there before. We're also looking forward to the opportunity to cruise around up there on Saturday. Launching at Port Orchard or Brownsville. We'll monitor 68.

See ya soon!

:D :D Hi folks, Janet and I want to thank all of you who welcomed us so warmly at Poulsbo today. This truly is a great bunch of boaters. We had a great time meeting folks and sharing a meal.

I'm sure this will be just the first of many get togethers with the C-Brats.

All the best, Roger & Janet Clark

Just got back and have the boat washed and cleaned up. Had a great time with everyone. 14 boats including Les on a Ranger 21. He gave several people rides and also trouble shot a couple of C-80s that had some minor problems. I accidentally reset a couple things somehow and had a couple of things slightly wrong. Thanks Les!
We will be needing an album Mike or Bill. Pat forgot his camera but there were several cameras still clicking away.l

Patti and I thank all we met today at Poulsbo, especially Layne Stewart of Sun Fish who was kind enough to give us a ride. We got the thorough 25' treatment :) from Ernie of Seatime and Pat Anderson of Daydream. Now If I can only find a way to stretch my 22' budget to a 25'...

We will indeed try to be at Lopez and have been pushed over the edge, we're going to the factory to talk turkey, or at least "dory".

Thanks again. C-Brats are a main reason we are in love with C-Dorys.

WE HAVE ANOTHER WINNER!!!

Barry and Patti, Welcome aboard. MMMMMM,, two Patti's. Could be a problem.

Looking forward to seeing you again at Lopez. Me thinks you need a ride on a 25. That CAN be arranged.

Got home safe and sound from another wonderful gathering of the C-Brats. Picked up the Dogs, who are now exhausted from a weekend of play. Don is washing down the boat and flushing the engine and I'm getting ready for the week to come.

We counted 17 boats that actually cruised in for the weekend and four other boats represented with drive in appearances. What a wonderful turn out for early March. Thank you Chris and Janet for heading up a great event! Oh, yes, and thank you, Jim, for making the Knotty C official now!

What a wonderful weekend! Thanks Chris and Janet for putting it all together. You done good. :D
I took a long cruise home, it was such a beautiful day. I fished a bit, and caught and released one searun cutthroat. It made a perfect ending to a great day.
I can't believe the weather that we experienced over the three days. We saw it all. Sun, calm, winds, rain, sleet, hail, snow, thunder and lightning, frost on the docks. Snow and sunburn. Go figure. I feel asleep last night with the moon shining through the hatch. The night before, I fell asleep to heavy rain and distant thunder.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and took part in a special weekend. What a wonderful group of folks. Thanks to the :beer guys, good stuff! I have many photos to post, but I am so tired right now, it will have to wait until tomorrow. Well, maybe I will post a few of my favorites. One of a special :dog .

C-Brats are the coolest! Robbi

A very special thanks to Chris and Janet for making the arrangements for the Poulsbo weekend. We had a great time. So-o-o good visiting with everyone that we hadn't seen in a while and meeting the new folks that we hope will be able to attend some more C-Brat get-togethers.

What everyone else said! We had a great time, thanks to Chris and Janet for a great job, the little party barge was wonderful, Poulsbo is a fun spot! Austin had a great time with Nick, James and Lance, and we never once heard from the Poulsbo PD! We hung on towards the end on Sunday, left with Scooter and Laurna Jo, they turned south after clearing Liberty Bay and we turned north, uneventful short run to Shilshole. There was still plenty of daylight left at home, so Daydream got the thorough cleaning she needed, ready to go for the next adventure!

I had a great time, and I'm glad I attended. Janet and Chris, thanks much for taking the lead on this year's first cruise. Your efforts are really appreciated.

Over the course of a long winter season sometimes I forget how important my water mates are to me. We always just pick up where we left off, and have a splendid time together. See you at Lopez!

We got home safe and sound also! and Big C-Brat Kudos to Chris and Janet for setting up and arranging the great weather ! :thup :hot !

Due to the fact that the Asst.Rev. was off his usual game, he will restate the Christenings done at Poulsbo for those boats at Lopez.

All in all we had a fantastic time as usual with the Family.

It was great to see all the old and new faces and what a great turn out for a gathering in early March.

The weather could not have been any better Sunday for a 5 hour trip back to Twin Bridges flat water and sunny, even Bella seemed to enjoy it laying out in the cockpit.

Look forward to seeing everyone at Lopez in May.

Joe here from Miss Mirth. We (Marty, Dotty, and Joe) had a great time with our quick visit. It was nice to see you all, but I'm sure we really missed out on the pot luck. Well better a quick visit than none at all.

We had a pretty rough ride back to Everett on Saturday afternoon. It was odd to listen to NOAA WX forecasting wind waves of 1 foot or less as we bounced north. I can't say for sure how rough it was, but one or two feet it was not.

Anyway, the quick visit just made us want to get out more. Thanks for all the effort to put this together.

JoeP,

Les came back in the 21EC Saturday and told me the actual reported weather was 22 knots and 3-4 ft. seas. A bit sloppy, but no problems.

Dusty

Thanks Chris & Janet along with everyone else for a wonderful time! Amy and I along with our guest from Montana had a blast seeing everyone.

After we left on Sunday we went all the way around Bainbridge Island stopping at Blake Island for about 20 minutes to see the State Park (plan to stay there someday!). We arrived back at Brownsville and safely made it all the way back to Tigard, OR by 4:30 pm.

Forgot to mention that I saw 3 C-Dory boats on I-5...one on the way up called True Story? and two more on the way back down...we all waved at each other as we passed.

Enjoyed the SUNSHINE and can't wait for more of that stuff...addicted...need a fix!!!!

Best Wishes,

Crazy John Frazey :smiled
