Not sure where everyone intends to launch, but we have confirmed that the Joemma State Park boat launch on Key Peninsula is open year round. Patty spoke to the ranger, they do take in some of the floats for the winter, but they leave one float out and keep the launch open. This is a great place to launch, easy cruise up to Jarrell Cove between Key Peninsula and Heron Island. It occurs to me, for those arriving Friday afternoon, not sure if we will be able to ourselves, you MIGHT want to cruise up to Allyn and have dinner at the World Famous Allyn Tavern, I think it has been renamed, but it is pretty good. The town of Allyn has a nice little dock there, a short walk up to town. And maybe a Saturday morning latte at Kenny's Northwest Experience - chainsaw art and lattes, what a combination (or are you providing, Bill?)
