11/15 - Snohomish River Cruise

OK Tom
we are still a go for tomorrow. we need to know what time you want us all to gather at the boat launch. we (Larry H and I )worked hard to get the heater installed in Sensei so we would have heat for this cruise. also got the new cabinetry on the port side completed so we are good to go. am charging the battery as we speak and time to get her wet.

Sorry i have been off line and with out a phone all day, felt good. We are on for the morning at 9am. Have a head count at that ramp and head out when every the crowd gets ready. I'm not a time nazi unless were fishing. If your late for that you might get left and you would not be the first one. I left a guy once and it was his boat. After langley and lunch i will be headed back out to do a little fishing in the north end. On that note I have a empty seat as Susan is going scrap booking tomorrow. If any one want to ride with me bring your fishing license. Hope to see you all there.

Tom,

If we can make it we will just drive down. Much shorter by road for us!
will try to get some pictures of the "fleet" arriving.
Will have the hand held on 68

Four C-Dory's made the trip from Everett to Langley. Tom (SUSAN E); Roger, Beth, Jeremiah & Linda D (SENSEI); Ruth & Joe (R-MATEY); Ron & Rose who drove up from Olympia with their 1987 C-Dory (yet to be named).

What a beautiful day, warm and sunny. Water as flat as a plate but filled with a lot of floating obstacles which we all managed to avoid. Merv & Kathy (Kingfisher II) as well as Cap't Mac (Island Ranger) drove to Langley to greet us. Great seeing them again. Had a tasty lunch. Sorry to see the day come to an end. Many thanks to Tom for being our fearless leader.

So Tom - did you catch anything today? I was busy helping my son and his fiance move into their first apartment - it was SOOOOO nice out today, I wish I was fishing instead.

That was fun. :thup :thup

Sorry about the weather
I put some photo' s in the Kingfisher album since your cruise album is not up and running yet. Feel free to move them.

It was great to see you all again and we are now looking forward to the gathering at the boat show. Hope y'all had a safe journey home and had no problems with customs and immigration

What a great day on the water. the sound was dead flat and warm. The only down side was all the wood in the water. Just miles of it on every ripe tide, from little bits to whole trees. I spent the whole time in langley in a great book store. lots of different stuff then your barns and nobles. I had a great time talking with everyone at lunch. Thank you to the kingfisher crew for meeting us and also to mac for stopping by.

Roger I did not catch anything. lots of bait and arches but no bites. And after checking in with the fish counter it looks like counts are low, which is standard for winter black mouth. I'm going back out today for crab and fish again.
