Bay and Delta Extravaganza Update:
Hello All, the mooring fees for Petaluma are $37. per boat. Please bring exact change for this (a check will work as well). We are trying for a Petaluma bridge opening at 2:00 PM, the bridge opening dictates speed/ departure time from Wheeler Island. We will adapt as best we can given sea conditions.
On a completely different note, Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield is hosting Wings Over Solano - Open House and Air Show featuring the USAF Thunderbirds on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 & 26. Gates open at 9:00 am. If we are lucky we will have planes overhead on our return to Rio Vista. More info at
www.WingsOverSolano.com
There are 23 people so prepare as you think best... we don't seem to eat as much these days

The first night we are at Wheeler Island John and Robbin will be hosting a BBQ with all the fixins.
The second night we have hamburgers but... in years past we have always managed to catch some fresh Striped Bass for a fish fry!
Remember to bring your own favorite beverage(s) for meals and socialization.

A quick reminder to not put off any of those boat maintenance items that need doing. We will top off fuel in Rio Vista, typically another fuel stop in Sausalito and a last fuel stop, if needed in Benicia. For those that desire to go fast or slow it is no problem, we can stay in communication as needed to assure all reach the final daily destinations.
"As always, each boat captain is solely responsible for his/her own boat’s and passenger’s ultimate safety and wellbeing. Each Skipper is not to rely on the judgement (or lack thereof) of the Pack Commodore.” In short, you are responsible for making sure that both you and your boat are properly prepared for this journey.
We truly look forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones! Please do not hesitate to PM me should you have some questions.
