We dropped off C-Dancer at Hilton Harbor in Bellingham for bottom painting at Bitter End Boatworks last Saturday. There we saw Pat & Patty's Daydream sitting on it's trailer in the lot. She looked kind of lonely P&P.

Upon entering Roeder Ave, we saw the blue TomCat Carrera zoom by. Quite a bit of C-Dorys in one stretch of road. :thup
When do you pick your boat up from there? Mine will be going there Saturday.
Probably pick it up on Friday the 24th. Waiting for the big boat in the tent to get done and moved out. Are you having yours bottom painted or something else?

Watching weather channel on Coast Guard, out of Sitka, AK. Video segment of CG member who owned a C Dory, taking several other Coast Guard crew members on a green trim, early C Dory 22 to go to a surfing beach on their day off! Amazing rescues--recreational boat of choice C Dory!

On the Seward Hyw. north of Seward heading towards Anchorage.......

A 25' C-Dory, bright aqua in color with a black (Mercury) stern drive, an unusual set up.

Also saw a new (I think) 16' C-dory not too far behind.

The C-Dory 25 Cruiser Blue Days and C-Dory 22 Cruiser Wee Bit are here at Little Current Town Dock for the night, we are having "docktails" with them this evening!

I saw three launch at Washington Park in Anacortes this Friday afternoon. The first was E Z Rider. A little bit later, there was Missy. Before Missy was out of sight, Kim Christine launched. Have fun everyone.

I stayed at the Blake Island WA marine State park over the weekend. I saw a little red 16 Cruiser there, newly purchased from Kingston, on it's maiden voyage. Owner, Jan Lee, says it is his first boat ever. Learning from a son in law, and loving the experience.

I also saw SCOUT, a 1988 Angler at Blake. It is the red one that had a very extensive rebuild that was written up here some years ago. It looked sharp. Also saw it out at the flotilla parade around the fish farm pens.

Harvey, are you sure you're not talking about the boat totally rebuilt by the master craftsman Chris Bulovsky from the great lakes also called Scout? He documented his incredible craftsmanship in his album called "resuscitation of a boat". I'm still amazed to this day.

Not to take away from the red 22' Angler Scout from Washington State. She's a beauty as well.

Peter

Peter, I think that this is the same boat. I talked to the Ranger there who is the current owner, and he said it is the one that was written up here on the C-BRATs, and was an extensive rebuild. I didn't research it here on the site.

I could be wrong, it's happened once or twice  (a day, a week, a month a year or a life time -- take your pick

Seen on HiWay 20 between Burlington on I-5 and Anacortes, East bound on 20. A 22, with a dark blue hull and a white shear strip. It was on-coming and it took me a while to recognize it as a C-Dory until ti was quite close. No name on the side.

Met George of Kerri On at Newcastle Island near Nanaimo B.C. last week. Had a good time discussing our C-Dory boating adventures!

His advice got us to Pender Harbor and back with ease!

I came to the intersection of "Dog Track Road", Lillian Highway (and old Lillian Hwy), and there sitting was a big fat "Tom Cat" which turned left (West bound) on Lillian Highway.

I had flashed my lights but I don't think that Gulf Coast John recognized me or my truck. Cat O Mine's was on its trailer and headed West...Maybe for a re-application of the "Poli glow)

Last weekend I saw "Notayot" at the dock at John Wayne Marina. They had been out for a couple of Sea trials after posting for sale recently. It was obvious that this was not an easy decision and probably not one of the best days in those boat owners lives. It's a pretty boat, red and lots of stainless accouterments.

Not a C-Dory sighting, but a C-Brat sighting! Tim and Judy Lindsey of Lynn Marie are back in our RV park in Casa Grande. Need to catch up with him and find out what has been going on, since he wasn't here last year!
