C-Dory Sightings

Got to meet Tom Hruby and I think his wife, yesterday at Olympia. My brother and his wife came to pick me up to go exploring and I noticed Watt Now parked at the other end of the dock. Tom came back down before we left, and it was a treat to get to meet him and see the Watt Now. My brother decided if he were to get a boat, that's the way he would go. As Watt Now pulled away from the dock, we heard nothing. :) But it moved pretty smartly through the water.

Yes it was my wife, Sherri, and we also had a friend on board. It was great to meet Colby and his brother (and his wife). We like to go out just for the day - launch at Swantown Marina, cruise around the Bay, and go have lunch at the Farmer's Market; all for about 24 cents worth of electricity.

During a training exercise (I volunteer for the Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue), we decided to cruise into Conover Cove on Wallace Island to have a look.... and....surprise surprise there was a number of C-Dorys in the cove.
Great to see this..

I finally got my TC24 hull #2 project in the water and got a guest slip next to my friend's TC24 in Santa Barbara for the 4th of July.

Looked like a 22 Cruiser heading from Ellsworth to Bangor on Monday, 21st. It had a burgundy stripe, burgundy bimini, burgundy main motor cover and burgundy kicker cover. Was not able to catch the name.
