Hitch em up an move em out...

I don't know if I can make the Seattle Boat show but I am sure looking forward to having an adult beverage with you. Hey, this time hand me some Injun Candy. I don't know if the last batch you left or sent for me is still in the bowels of Tyboos freezer or not but at this point I have only seen pictures and that is just a tease.... :smilep

Knowing Tyboo it would up in one bowel or the other  :moon hehe.. Just funnin you Mike  I gotta get me some of that candy... Maybe I'll send you home with some Sturgeon. It ain't the fancy smoked Sturgeon that Mike does, heck... I haven't even seen a picture of that but I hear it's good...

Hi Gregg,
Nice pics! Looks cold to me.

I have a couple of questions. In one of your trip stories you talk about an invention that lets you plan an inflatable with 2hp. What's up with that?

Also you have some pictures of an inflatable kayak. What brand do you have?

Thanks,
Steve

Uh oh…. Someone’s asking about my invention I still have yet to move from proto-type to production. Nope… can’t do it yet :D lol You know the thing planes extremely easy even without the “invention” anyway. If I see it on the market, I’ll cut loose with it and share it. I will say how much I luv that little Yamaha 2.5 hp 4-stroke---or did I already :D
OK, the inflatable-canoe! Is a “AIRE” “Traveler” model:

http://www.aire.com/traveler.shtml

An I would not trade it for anything!! I would not have purchased a “dinghy” if I had known how much better I liked the canoe instead. It is absolutely self bailing. Super-Duper-Stable. Draws less water and is far easier to go ashore with than the little inflatable tender I bought, with a keel. Much better for two or more peeps to go “apaddling-around-on” (all day) really cruises with ease! Is lighter, and has an “inner-blatter” system I have come to “see-the-light” (in its design) making it much more “repairable” out in the field… should you ever pull a “Greg” and end up puncturing it. ---just kidding, I still have yet to pop any “may-pop” around! (a ‘may-pop’ is another word for ‘inflatable’)
I know their waaay---spendy!! But the enjoyment level is right-up-there! :love

Thanks for the info Gregg.

I'll be waiting for that invention to get on the market. I have a 4hp 2cycl and can not plane a dingy - maybe if I was 14 and 100lbs lighter :D .

Steve

Gregg,
You certainly live where there is fantastic scenery! Great pics.

What's with the Meerschaum, I thought you were a stogie man?

I am taking my CD to Lake Mohave to try to get away from the fog and cold. If it is nice might even do some kayaking.

Steve

LOL Hey I wish I were going along with! I always wanted to do that area on my boat in winter! Maybe some year? Hope so.

Well lucky for me, that gorgeous scenery is only an hour away! It's A.K.A. avalanche country to... lots of peeps killed in avalanches there through the years :( Alone but the best ride of the season! even helped a young whippersnapper get his machine fixed so he could make it back over the mountain to get home that night. Other than roarin-around-like-the-devel, i guess I was good-fer-sumpin that day! :thup
Glad ya liked it :)

BTW... If I tried one of them big-fat-stogies, I might have froze to death! LOL takes an hour to smoke one of them big Hondurans i have now :smilep :embarrased :crook :disgust
