I'm going to celebrate your birthday sleeping on "Sea Shift" on P dock at Port of Bellingham. (I came up to visit Jessica today and we just got back to her apt. after doing a walk about in Fairhaven).

If you come up to Bellingham tomorrow morning, maybe we could have an impromptu Birthday Breakfast for you at the restaurant (can't remember its' name) at the marina. (Joe and Ruth and any other C-Brats are you interested?)

Happy Belated B'Day, Roger. Sure would like to be with you folks celebrating your birthday this am. We'll hoist a sundowner for you this evening, thinking fondly of good times shared.
 
This morning we celebrated Roger's birthday with a mini C-Brat get-together at the Bayside Cafe. Breakfast started at about 8am with Roger, Beth, Dave, Joe & Ruthie at the table. Conversation continued until the lunch crowd started arriving. Also a phone call from Robbi (C-RUN) while we were there. Good hearing from her.

What a great way to spend the morning :thup

What a delightful morning. The impromptu C-Brat Gathering at the Bayside Cafe was a success and Robbi's phone call made her an integral part of the gathering as well. The waitress sang Happy Birthday to Roger and gave him a Birthday Cake. :cake
After breakfast we stood outside in the sunshine ( :hot ...no kidding!) and continued our conversations as we watched what appeared to be a military helicopter with difficult markings to discern circling overhead. I just "googled" Bellingham helicopter and learned that it was in fact a Homeland Security Helicopter (never seen one before), that was investigating a report of a C-Brat Gathering at the Port of Bellingham. :shock:

(actually, the H.S. Helo was circling in support of a SWAT operation on a nearby apartment complex with possible bank robbery suspects).
