Congrats to both parties (both of whom I know, like and really respect). I hope it works out well for all concerned. As others have said, buyers will certainly get a good boat that is properly built and rigged with you two involved.

Roger - I figured dealing with Les and Kathy was the only thing that would make me drive through Seattle on a regular basis if I had to, however; there is another option. Go up the west side of the canal on 101 to Port Angeles and ferry over to the Island. Distance wise it is about the same but time wise it is a little longer (about 20-25 minutes). The extra time is worth if I can avoid the Seattle traffic. Now if you would offer to buy me lunch some time, I might be tempted to take the Seattle route to Cornet Bay.

I also think that this boat fits a niche that is going to come back strong as the recession eases.

Dave - that's a deal. Just let me know when you might be coming through and we'll catch lunch someplace near my office/lab. I'll even show you around the lab if that wouldn't bore you to tears. Traffic isn't too bad around lunch time.

Les,
The Cowbell name came from Shelley's sense of humor. I asked her what she wanted to name the little C-Dory and she said Cowbell. I didn't get it, so she said if the big boat's name is Bessie, shouldn't the little one be Cowbell. I guess I should put a cowbell on the little boat so that when it's banging against Bessie's hull during the night Shelley can hear it.
