Marinaut and E.Q. Status Change

Good for you Les. Marinaut purchasers can expect the absolute best in rigging, customization, and dealer service with you involved. As we pull out of the recession and folks start to recreate more I think this will really take off for you. Regards, Mike.

Les & Kathy, Dave & Ben,

Congratulations and all the best wishes for a wonderful outcome. You all are great and this is going to be a very good boat. About as perfect as perfect can get. :thup :thup

Congrats to both parties (both of whom I know, like and really respect). I hope it works out well for all concerned. As others have said, buyers will certainly get a good boat that is properly built and rigged with you two involved.

<stuff clipped>Dave still wants to spend time in the building process as well when his time allows.

Dave does know that this will mean driving through Seattle on a regular basis - correct?

Roger - I figured dealing with Les and Kathy was the only thing that would make me drive through Seattle on a regular basis if I had to, however; there is another option. Go up the west side of the canal on 101 to Port Angeles and ferry over to the Island. Distance wise it is about the same but time wise it is a little longer (about 20-25 minutes). The extra time is worth if I can avoid the Seattle traffic. Now if you would offer to buy me lunch some time, I might be tempted to take the Seattle route to Cornet Bay.

Les,
Add me to the list of people wishing you well on your new venture. I have a great deal of respect for you guys and I hope this is a great success for all of you.

I also think that this boat fits a niche that is going to come back strong as the recession eases.
Regards,
Lyle

Dave - that's a deal. Just let me know when you might be coming through and we'll catch lunch someplace near my office/lab. I'll even show you around the lab if that wouldn't bore you to tears. Traffic isn't too bad around lunch time.

Thanks Lyle!

I just noticed the name of your CD14...priceless! :)

Les,
The Cowbell name came from Shelley's sense of humor. I asked her what she wanted to name the little C-Dory and she said Cowbell. I didn't get it, so she said if the big boat's name is Bessie, shouldn't the little one be Cowbell. I guess I should put a cowbell on the little boat so that when it's banging against Bessie's hull during the night Shelley can hear it.
