Is there a way to force a message to send?

I have had a few that stayed in the outbox for days (or longer) -- when I could see the person had been online and would typically have received it already. I did find a way to "force" send it: What I did was go to my outbox, click on the message-that-would-not-send, and then "edit" it. Then re-sent and it got to its recipient in short order.

So I went an bought another boat. I was going to buy his boat unseen but due to no PM sent I did not purchase the Denver boat.
I don't think a message moves from the outbox to the sent box until the recipient actually goes the "messages" link found on the C-Brats home page. They could go online many times, but unless they look in the messages area, your message will languish in the outbox. (I wonder if the move from outbox to sent occurs as soon as one goes to the messages area, or only when one actually displays the message in question?)I have had a few that stayed in the outbox for days (or longer) -- when I could see the person had been online and would typically have received it already.
