Question Re: bilge pump float switches

Has anyone used the AQUALARM SMART BILGE PUMP SWITCH.
The specific model that I am considering is model 2003855209-12. This unit looks to be pretty good. The switch unit can be purchased seperately or with a control pannel that has a pump cycle counter, alarm bell and three position control switch manual on-off- auto and an alarm flashing light.
This unit is more expensive that the general bilge pump switch set up but I think that I am ready to spend the $$ to get a better quality system
We had had nothing but trouble with the Rule float switches that we have in the Stimpy and and I am looking for viable units that will stay working. Any information or comments are appreciated.

I can't say I've had a lot of experience with any kind of bilge pump switch, but when researching options for my boat rebuild project I came up with a switch that electronically detects water. Johnson Pump makes the ones I got for my boat. A link to their product page is below. In my limited experience it works quite well and I don't have to worry about jammed floats. I have two of these switches: one to be mounted in a pump recess in the sole with a small 750gph pump; the other switching a 2000gph pump will be set up on a block an inch higher in the recess.
