"Sea Shift" Super Sized

Wade, I almost called you on my way through Mt. Vernon yesterday but I was in too big of a hurry to see Les. (I do hope you're not offended).

Fred, yes you will see more of the family now. They really wanted to go on some of those gatherings but it was too cold and crowded on the 16'. Those instant heat packs of mine were just to small to keep them warm.

One of the requests that I made of Les was that he install a 110 receptacle in the V-Berth so I could plug an electric blanket in to help keep Carol warm and of course the 110 receptacle near the dinette berth so an electric blanket could keep Jessica warm. Those features along with the Wallas should contribute to happier outings!

As far as discerning whether the vessel approaching you is "Da Nag" or "Sea Shift", the traditional spot light will be on the bow pulpit this time.
 
With you and Bill getting your boats at the same time calls for an outting. How about late February or early March at Cornet Bay or somewhere close and a cruise into the San Juans if weather permits? Who knows maybe lunch at Fisherman Bay.

The projected completion time is mid-late February, so March would be more likely. Looking at my projected March schedule, I work the first 3 Saturdays in March so Saturday March the 27th would be the most logical time.
 
Sounds good to me, will Bill and Dana be moved up here by then?

Mike and Kay's boat will probably still be up here since Les will be just finishing theirs up..........Just Joking Mike and Kay! :roll:
 
Dave- I am so happy for you. And, with that radar stickin' up, I won't hesitate to follow you under any railroad bridge. :wink Congratulations
 
Thanks Marty, shoot I'll either have to call 4 hours in advance to have them open the bridges in the slough or make sure that the "Anita Marie", "Laurna Jo", "Da Nag" and all those others vessels with radar arches join us, so they can accompany me back through the water maze from whence we came. (Believe me, when I ordered the radar arch, our recent trip of ducking under the bridges was on my mind). I then figured that if ever I got into fishing, I'd strap myself on the arch and change it into a "tuna tower". (No wisecracks from you Mike, Bill, etc. :lol: )

Mike or Bill....whoever is responsible for the caption under the "Dancin' Sea Shift" home screen photo .....the whole family loves the new caption. Thanks!

I just got home from work and found a whole slough of messages!

I'm sure glad you posted the news Dave...you see Dave called me a WEEK ago; the Friday the Cornet Bay get together started and Bill (Da Nag) was here. Man, you think that hasn't been hard news to keep quiet!! :smileo Especially with all the Brats around last weekend...darn near did me in :lol:

Looks like Da New Da Nag and the new Super Sea Shift are going to come down the chute about two weeks apart...I'm glad they're getting close to the same equipment; I can hear it now in the shop...

"Hey what goes on the red C-Dory?"
"Which one?"
"The RED one!"
"Yea, but the one with the tan deck or the one with the white deck?"
"The one with two motors."
"Well, the one with two of the same motors or with one big one and one small one?"

Geez, this could be fun! :mrgreen:
 
Bill, do you think I'll get the espresso machine mounted on the one with the two motors of the same size! and you'll get the outhouse on the rubber boat to tow behind that I requested? tee hee

I'm excited to hear about the super-sized Sea Shift. So when do they start laying up the hull? Will you be posting photos on this site? Keep us informed on the progress. It looks like we will have to make a Costco run and get a 55 gallon drum of champagne for all of the new boats coming on line!

Dave, Carol, Jessie and Honey Dog, congratulations on your new baby. I'm real excited to see your new 22', but that 16' will sure be missed. It will be nice to see all of you snuggled up in that new tostie cabin.
 
Holy cats! A guy leaves for a few days, comes back, and finds the natural order of things have been reshuffled yet again.
Dave and Co., a great big smile and squeezy hug of happiness for you three, from me. I'd say you kept your hand pretty close to the vest, there, Fireman Dave. I thought that purchase was further in the future.

Still, while I'm a happy guy for Sea Shift and crew, you now leave me all alone in the midget class. I'll have to round up some more 16's to replace the depleted C-Dory flyweight division.

Catman, if ya get another 16 footer and epoxy on to yours (stern to stern) you'd have a nice 32 double ender with an aft cabin. Where have you been?
