We spent the new years weekend out on the sound staying at Bell Harbor for a night, then Edmonds after that. Too much food and beer but hey, tis the season. The water was great, the Wallas was even better, and the heated mattress pad covering the berth was priceless.

Found a marvelous company, Carolina Laser, that makes 1" X 2" plastic labels at a great price. I removed all the original and embossed tape stickover tags on my helm station and replaced them with new labels. It came out beautifully. I would add a picture but I don't speak

Your 19 is practically set up like a 22 cruiser! How far have you ever gone on that boat? How many days out? I was looking at some of your photos today.
Yes, it was beautiful! Didn't go out today, but accomplished some "boat related" things. Picked up a gallon of 1-K Heater fuel from Home Depot, disassembled and cleaned the aft bilge pump (it was sticking with the float up, not allowing it to shut off), and figured out how the Port-a-Potti works, I think; haven't tried it yet. Tomorrow is the last day predicted with no rain, so I'm definitely getting out there! Haven't been out since Thursday; I'm having withdrawals.
I am not sure if it is the influence of this forum or the aging process, but my KISS list is allowing more and more items that I once said I would never put on a boat. My Lewmar 700H just arrived today. Yes, an electric windlass that I once said I would avoid like the plague. Already did the dreaded drilling through the deck, and back-filled the core edges with epoxy. Will install tomorrow.
I planned to go out with a friend today, but had second thoughts when the winds were much stronger than originally predicted, 16-18 vs. 20-25! Finally decided, what the heck. We went anyway and had a GREAT time. We went down to Penn Cove, stopped at Toby's for mussels and a Guinness, and practiced docking in windy conditions. Didn't buy any fuel there; gas was $3.29/gal. as opposed to $2.62/gal. at Oak Harbor Marina!
Haven't been out for a week, but been busy on the boat almost every day. I take the dog with me; he loves "his" boat; it has treats on it! 
I oiled the teak with lemon oil. It looks great. I finally managed to find the S/N on the Wallas stove/heater and signed up for their additional 12 month warranty, for a total of 36 months. That is the final warranty to sign up for! I keep learning where everything is located and how it works. Putting hydraulic oil in the trim tab reservoir looks challenging! It is at the bottom of the acceptable level, so that is next on my list, after I buy flares to replace the ones that expired in 2012, that is!
Oh, got the MMSI number entered into the VHF radio too.
Weather looks promising for tomorrow. Maybe we can get out on the water if I can talk the wife into swapping movie date days!

Just finnished rewiring, adding a Blue Sea Add a Battery kit, making rails to fit both batteries in the starboard lazerett for and aft, new Cannon downrigger, relocating the Vhf, relocating the raw water washdown panel, adding in a access port to where the port battery cables ran in the port lazerett and rebuilding the port motor carbs......I just can't leave well enough alone......It would be nice to go fishing now!!!
Port Townsend sound good. There are several brats in the area, and maybe an at the table CBGT is in order. If you have not tried Sea J's, right across the street from the West Marine store, it is worth it if you like fish and chips too.
I am looking at a cruise around Whidbey early spring. Will be looking for you at the SBS group too.

Captain Erik Wennstrom has had a long career in emergency services and on the water. He currently combines the two by mentoring the Salish Rescue team, a group of youth who are getting involved in on-the-water rescue.
Join Wennstrom in reviewing different incidents from the past fifteen years of working on a fire boat, a rescue boat, and with vessel assist.
He'll walk you through what went wrong and what could have been done differently in several scenarios, with the goal being to consider some changes in your boat handling and becoming more resourceful in the event and emergency does occur.

I'd love to play hooky tomorrow but I'll have to see how work goes. Navy has its hooks in for a few more years! We haven't tried Sea J's yet, sounds good. As far as the Whidbey cruise, we're on the South side of the island between Freeland and Langley. Great little harbor in Langley and by the looks of it there has been a SBGT there before and maybe it needs another in the future!
Cap'n Jack. Our favorite restaurant is The Waterfront Cafe on Pier 7 in La Conner. We are looking forward to going there via boat this summer. We love to sit outside and watch the activity on the channel. We especially enjoy watching the tour planes take off and land during the tulip season!
The only thing I did on the boat yesterday was replace the expired flares. I think we are finally legal. Now I need to schedule an inspection, once I figure out how.

If you are speaking of the voluntary Vessel Safety Inspection done by Coast Guard Aux or by the Power Squadron, they are pretty readily available, and free. The folks that do that have quotas to reach so are generally pretty willing to come to you. One of the activities at the Friday Harbor CBGT is vessel inspection, and there are always one, tow or more there who will do inspections.
It is a good idea to get this done, and that sticker on the window can come in handy occasionally. I have had my inspection done every year since I have had the boat. At least twice, I have had a CG or Sheriff boat approach me on the port side, and when the are close enough the see the current sticker, they wave and off they go.
You can find the check list for that inspection in a dozen places, on line, in a search on this site, at your marina office, just to name a few.

Yep, that's the one. I was thinking Coast Guard only, but the Power Squadron is probably easier to reach. We joined them and took several classes "centuries' ago back in Michigan. They have been after me to join here in OH, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. This would be a good time!
