I have alot of extra, should I
remove the excess and shorten
the trip from the fuel Jug?
Thanks,

Gordon :D

does it work?? then why mess with it.

I'd buy a bigger boat so there's more room for the fuel line :) ........I don't think it would hurt to trim it down, but, like Tom said, if it works don't fix it

Gordon,

Are you having problems? The fittings on the fuel line are pressed on, so, unless you have replacements and the proper tool, I would not mess with it.

No, no problems I was just wondering???
I'll take the advice and leave it alone.

Thanks everyone

Gordon,
We had some problems with slow startups that weren't battery related. We also had a couple of experiences with the stove turning off and smoking, similar to having a direct wind blowing up through the exhaust and putting out the flame.
To improve performance, Karl (stove rep) recommended getting rid of excess coils of fuel line. We noticed an improvement, no more start up problems, no more smoking.

Thanks Primative,
I haven't had a chance to really use
mine yet, just running around the bays
in chilly weather. I have at least 4 or 5'
extra hose on mine. I didn't want the little
fellow to turn blue trying to draw fuel
through to long of a line.
I'll keep an eye out for problems.

Gordon
